Flying Scot Program

When: The classes will take place at the West River Sailing Club from 9:00am – 3:00 pm on June 28, July 12, July 19, Aug 2

Scope:

• Day 1 Classes (June 28 and July 12) Learn the basics

• Day 2 Classes (July 19 and Aug 2) Build on your Day 1 experience. Class is geared for more advanced sailors

Cost:

• Club member fee is $72 per day (Yearbook says $275 for members)

• Non-club member fee is $135 per day (Yearbook says $390 for non-members)

• Couples attending together receive a $100 discount off the combined fee when signing up for both Day 1 and Day 2.

• No refunds will be possible

Details:

• Each student will also receive a copy of Start Sailing Right, a US Sailing publication valued at $16.95.

• Class size will be limited to 12 students.

• Each participant is responsible for bringing their own PFD (Lifejacket) to each lesson.

• Students should be prepared to get wet and also bring a light rain jacket (in case of inclement weather).

• Also bring closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses..

• Also bring plenty of drinking water and a lunch.
