How to Get to WRSC

• From MD suburbs, NW DC/NE DC

  Take The capital Beltway to US Route 50 East. Exit at Davidonsville Rd (MD Rt 424).
  Proceed through the first traffic light and follow 424 until it dead ends at MD Rt 2.
  Turn right and then turn left after about 100 yds onto Mill Swamp Rd.
  Follow this until it comes to a crossroads (Muddy Creek Rd, MD Rt 468). Turn Right.
  Turn left onto Galesville Rd at the first traffic light. Proceed to the end of this road and turn left at the Topside Restaurant.
  Turn left onto the Club grounds immediately next to the small park at the end of the street

   

• From VA suburbs, SW DC/SE DC, Southern MD

  Follow MD Rt 4 south from the Capital Beltway or from US Rt 301. Turn onto MD Rt 408. Continue straight on MD Rt 2 when Rt 408 ends.
  Turn right onto Owensville Rd. This road becomes Galesville Rd at the traffic Light.
  Go straight and follow the last two sentences of the directions in the preceeding paragraph.

• From Annapolis

  Take MD Rt 2 south from Parole. Turn left at MD 214 (Central Avenue).
  Turn Right at the third traffic light onto MD 468 (muddy Creek Rd).
  Follow the last three sentences of the "From MD Suburbs..." directions above.

• From Baltimore

  Follow Interstate 97 south from MD Rt 3. Take MD Rt 2 south from Parole. Turn left at MD 214 (Central Avenue).
  Turn Right at the third traffic light onto MD 468 (muddy Creek Rd).
  Follow the last three sentences of the "From MD Suburbs..." directions above.

• By Water

  Galesville, MD 20765 (on the West River at Tenthouse Creek)
  38-50.75N    076-32.35W
  On the West River, which is South of Annapolis,
  Southwesterly from Thomas Point Light,
  Northwesterly from G”1”..
  Enter the West River and follow the government marks…when you are abreast of G”5”, turn
  to 250 deg  M.  The West River Sailing club (WRSC) will be approx.  ¼ mile ahead of you.
