| The Lessons of sailing last a lifetime. |

|
Sailing is a sport kids can enjoy right away - and
for the
rest of their lives. Sailing is fun. Sailing is social. It builds
physical strength
and mental acuity. And it builds reliance on oneself, encourages
respect for
the environment, and offers the rewards that come from challenge
and competition. |

West River Sailing Club has had a junior sailing program
since the 1950s. It has a long and proud history of producing many
lifelong sailors of all caliber. Fifty years later and we are as
strong as ever offering quality instruction of all levels to nearly
a hundred children a year ranging from ages 6 to 18.
And this year we are proud to announce the revamping of the entire
program from basic sailing to high level competition. Our goal is
to develop all around awesome sailors, not just racers. |
