There are three levels of membership available in the S2 7.9 Class:
Regular membership in the S2 7.9 Meter Class Association is restricted to S2 7.9 boat owners. It gives you the right to sail all sanctioned S2 7.9 regattas and the International Championships. Regular members are also entitled to vote on Class Association matters at the Annual Membership Meeting and at all other membership meetings either in person or by written proxy.
Family membership includes the regular member and spouse and minor (under 18yrs old) children of the member.
Associate membership is for those who do not own an S2 7.9 boat, but wish to participate in the Class and it's events. Associate members receive the same services as regular members, but are NOT eligible to vote on Class Association matters.
As a Regular member/Associate member you are also entitled to official updated copies of the class rules usually at no additional charge.
