The ILYA sanctioned the MC Class in 1986. 
The Lake Beulah Yacht Club donated a trophy in honor of the
first ILYA Class MC Champion, Hardy Will.
The trophy is awarded annually to the MC Class Champion.

The children of Jeanne and Doug Ziegler donated
this trophy in 1994 in memory of Jeanne. 
While Jeanne never sailed herself, 
she provided tremendous support to all 
her children in their sailing careers. 
The trophy is an MC Model to be awarded to the
winner of the first race at the
MC ILYA Championship Regatta.

 The Bilge Pullers donated this trophy in 1996
to recognize the
fine sailing competition in the MC fleet.
This silver trophy is awarded annually 
to the winner of the second race 
at the MC ILYA Championship Regatta. 

 The Reese family of Long Lake, Illinois 
donated this trophy in 1995. 
The trophy is named after the family's first MC,
Yard Art, sailed by their daughters, Katie and Kelly. 
This silver trophy is awarded annually to the winner 
of the third race at the MC ILYA Championship Regatta. 

 Melges Sails donated this silver tray
in 1994 to be awarded
annually to the highest placing skipper 
under the age of
21 years at the
MC ILYA Championship Regatta..

 The Pewaukee MC fleet donated this
Masters Champion Trophy in 1994
to the ILYA to promote sailing among skippers 
50 years of age and older. 
 The fleet felt that such sailors should continue to sail 
and show that they are still a competitive group. 
The trophy was back engraved to 
include qualifying skippers from 1986.

Walter and Mary Jo Schwarting donated this 
 Grand Masters Champion Trophy in 1993 to the ILYA 
to promote sailing among skippers
60 years of age and older.
It was engraved to reflect the eligible skippers 
from previous years.
