The Warren-Carpenter-Freytag Trophy
.
This trophy was presented in 1919 to the Association by Mr. Wadsworth Warren of For'n'Aft and is to be awarded to the owner of the Class C yacht winning the championship at the annual regatta. Should the same yacht under the same ownership win the Class C championship for two succeeding years, the trophy was to become the property of such yacht at the time of the second championship victory.

This trophy was won by Leonard Carpenter of the Minnetonka Yacht Club under the conditions mentioned above in 1919 and 1920.
He re-donatedthe trophy under the name of "The Warren-Carpenter Trophy",
to be sailed for under the same conditions.

In 1951 and 1952 William H. Freytag, Jr. of the Lake Geneva Yacht Club won this trophy and in 1953 re-donated the trophy which is to be known as the Warren-Carpenter-Freytag Trophy. It is to be a perpetual trophy. | |
