This
trophy
was presented by Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Gartz, Jr.in 1938 and is a silver
platter
upon which is engravedthe names of all the winnersof the annual
regattasof
the Association since its foundation in 1898. This trophy is to be
awarded
annually to the owner of the yachtwinning the championship at the
annual
regatta.
Two
ILYA Class A Scow Fleets were recognized in 2006, and the trophy was
designated for the Class A One-Design fleet.

trophy
was donated to the Association by
Messrs.

F. Bell, Charles H. Bell and S.H. Bell in 1930
under
the
following conditions:
That a
small
vase be donated for permanent ownership to the winner each year.
That the
founders
have a right to discontinue the donation of the small vase for
permanent
ownership, whereupon the Three Bells Challenge Trophy vase shall
cease to
be
a challenge case and shall then become the property of the yacht
owner
who
shall win it three times in a period of five consecutive years.

The William R. Perrigo, Sr. Memorial Trophy was donated in 2001 by the
friends
and family of William "Curly" Perrigo, who spent an enormous amount of
time and effort in campaigning and promoting the Class A Scow through
much of his
adult life. The trophy is awarded to the Class A yacht which has the
best
combined record at the ILYA Invitational and Championship
Regattas.

‘A’ Wooden Hull Perpetual Trophy is not a cup but a nautical end
table,
donated by
Hermann
A. Nunnemacher in 1984 in memory of the
last white
cedar
‘A’ hull #3 built by Melges Boat Works in 1966, which is now
on display at
the
Yachting Museum in Newport, Rhode Island.
The trophy is
awarded
to the highest ranking wooden hull
class ‘A’ at
the
Championship Regatta, provided that two such hull compete.
When only one
wooden
‘A’ competes, the trophy shall be awarded to
that yacht for
that
