The "Dixie" Trophy

The "Dixie" Class ‘A’ Wooden Hull Perpetual Trophy is not a cup but a nautical end table,
donated by Hermann A. Nunnemacher in 1984 in memory of the
last white cedar ‘A’ hull #3 built by Melges Boat Works in 1966, which is now
on display at the Yachting Museum in Newport, Rhode Island.
The trophy is awarded to the highest ranking wooden hull
