Cherub 2658 Lost In Space is a Barr 1 Nomex/Carbon hull. She has 3 Mains, 2 jibs and 3 Asymmetric spinnakers.Her foils are a Bloodaxe daggerboard with a Bloodaxe daggerboard rudder/carbon tiller and stock. She has a full size carbon mast, a carbon boom ,carbon tiller extensions and a self-tacking jib car. CNC machined from black acetal (delrin) to suit all C-tech prods. These bearing bushes fit inside the carbon launch tube and provide a hard wearing and low friction prod launch. The bearings can be sanded and shaped to allow the prod to clear obsticles like mast foots and king posts during retraction, which is not always easy with traditional launch tubes. CNC machined from black acetal (delrin) to suit C-tech prods with an inboard ID 54mm and tip ID 25mm (acetal can be sanded so adjustment of these ID's is possible). These bushes have an 8mm diametre hole which sweeps into the largest permissible radius for the OD. This ensures no snag points, low rope wear and low friction. This principle also allows the prod to rotate freely in the launch tube bushes and reduce the probability of tack line tangles These bushes fit inside the carbon prod and provide a hard wearing and low friction surface for the tack line to turn against during launch and retract.
