....you might like to hear me on the BBC World Service a bit before 10.30 am on Wednesday morning. I am being interviewed about keeping the libel laws out of science.

The reason for this is that I run the Journal Club at the Institute of Psychiatry which is where scientific ideas are 'stress tested' and not being able to say what you think for fear of lawerly action would impede the advancement of knowledge.

Still not heard it. I did not listen to it on Weds morn because I was chairing a huge meeting at 1pm, with 118 attendees (if I was rubbish on the radio it might have put me off my game for the meeting).

Quite an interesting program, I think it could have taken a few more "scientific activity" repeats.

I guess the whole thing is to make sure that you can break the first rule of journal club and talk about journal club  Cheesy

On Wednesday I chaired the Christmas Journal Club and said 'Please remember Journal Club is for life and not just for Christmas', but I do like the idea of 'The first rule of Journal Club is you do not talk about Journal Club'......

It was a joy to be on the radio. Right: Work!
