MCMC in bristol has some start up rolls of various weights of biax in lengths between 5 and 20 meters.  These rolls are effectively off cuts from when a run of cloth is started.  They may contain defects but are much cheaper per meter than buying off the roll. 

I noticed yesterday that they still have a pallet left of assorted cloth weights etc but there are some rolls of 300gram biax in there.  These are not advertised on the website so you can only find out what is there buy ringing or visiting in person.

Collection and delivery also possible before via almost every event (arrange it first by PM) - Most routes away form ours take us past them.

The 300g bi-ax currently on the racks is a "high-drape" and forms to almost impossible shapes. Needs care when handling, especially when wet. We have used a fair ammount of this and recommend wetting it on plastic and arranging life so it never supports its own weight when wet. Leaves a lovely finish.
