Today we collected the E6 from Mike, we have set ourselves three weeks to complete her however this is very optimistic (completley unachievable). Still in for a penny.... There seems a lot left to do, as the hull needs preping for paint and Mike is finnishing the foils and boom. Then just the small matter of fitting out
and getting some time on water before the nationals. Will post some pics soon to show our progress.

Interesting choice of name. I presume there's a story behind it? I wanted to call my boat "Gloria", but when my wife found out was short for "Gloria Stitts" it got vetoed.

Perhaps it might be 3208 good job we havent got around to sticking those sail numbers on yet  Spent today covering nice carbon with filler then sanding it off again. It also seems that the more you do, the more things you see that need doing. To all that have built their own boats RESPECT. |

Looks sleak. i think paul said yesterday that the hull is so skinny you really want one for each foot.
All the hard work pays off in the end. But you are right there is always more to it than you think.

Yes, however it was ordered to be 20% stiffer with a shorter top section. Just got to add the rest of the boat to it now. Really looking forward to the nationals, but I feel there will still be a lot of bimbleing to be done.
I can't think of a better place or bunch of people to bimble a Cherub with than at Largo.

The new BGM mast will have a 1.9m tip - have you gone shorter?
I can't find the previous thread that had the spreader positions form Aunti in it. It would be fun to do a compare and contrast...
Hmm, typing this I remember I was 1/2 way through a conversation with Davro about the spreaders - if you are reading this please PM a phone number.
