interesting. For us it would work much better in a conventional pole to mast-head hoist. A parafoil on end. Two skins held together with baffles and gauze at the leading edge. I suppose it would be half the actual area in size ( 10.5 sqm ) as it would be essentially two spinnakers. Ummmm....

I saw one of these on a HOD 35 yacht 2.5 years ago.  Appeared to work.
If as intended it gives greater lift forward you would never have to worry about letting off the T foil at the windward mark. I'm not sure how it would work in an asymmetric though.

it's good to see above that Tom is being very agreeable to day.  Smiley
