As a few of us will be down at Lee anyone know anyone with a rib that we could jump on to go out and watch the Fastnet start on Sunday?

Alternatively drive round to Hurst and watch them sail through the gap and out to the needles.

This is what sarah did last time when I did the race in 2009.

Did you make it down in the end Andy? Im not sure a rib was required in the end - short tacking up the shore was the name of the game off the startline!

We watched the race starting from the beach at Lee-on-solent.  Not the closest vantage point but we could make out a lot of the larger sails.
