The cherub laminate spec is the same as for IC,
but 8mm foam bottom and deck, with generally ~ 1.5m of the front curvy bit in grid-scored foam depending on the design.
5mm foam topsides.
Extra carbon at 0°/90° over the bottom from ~ 0.5m from the stem for ~ 2m back.

The Canoe site thread is really good.  Lots of details and tips.  The bit about doing the foam in smaller stepa to avoid the foam moving to much is a good one.  Something I hadn't considered before.

I think the only way you may be able to do the first skin and the foam in one hit for a cherub is have more people so you can be wetting out the carbon and buttering the foam at the same time.   The only risk with this is there is no where for excess resin from the skin to go. Any excess resin will stay in the laminate or be squeezed into the foam.

I liked the idea of tempoarily securing the foam down with a glue gun when cutting to shape.
